The Edgartown Fire Station new construction project is located at 68 Peases Point Way S, Edgartown, MA 02539. The scope includes demolition of the existing fire station and construction of a new station, with an approximate area of 17,800 square feet, including all associated sitework. The estimated construction duration is 16 months. This work is specific to the Electrical Trade for which prequalified filed subcontractors are invited to bid, in accordance with the contract documents prepared by Saccoccio & Associates, Architects. All bids must be submitted electronically via www.Projectdog.com. Bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit of not less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, made payable to the Town of Edgartown. Bid forms and contract documents are provided electronically at no cost, but printing and shipping costs for hard copies are the sole responsibility of the bidder. Addenda, if issued, will be posted on the Projectdog website, and it is the bidder's responsibility to acknowledge all addenda in their bid form. The award will go to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder as determined by the awarding authority, with the right reserved to waive informalities or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, as deemed in the Town's best interest. Pre-qualification requirements: Filed sub-bidders must be pre-qualified and DCAMM certified for the Electrical Trade.
