Sealed bids to be marked "Sealed Bid for the Village of Hodge Community Development Block Grant Project for Fiscal Year 2023 to be financed by the State of Louisiana CDBG Program".Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope addressed to the Village of Hodge, 406 West Central Street, Hodge, LA 71247. Any requests for bid documents must be accompanied by payment in full. Prime Bidders must obtain Bidding Documents from the Engineer. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5 percent of bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or a bid bond.The successful bidder will be required to obtain a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each inthe amount of 100% of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause in accordance with Louisiana R.S. 38:2214B. Minority and Section 3 businesses are encouraged to submit bid proposals. Any such business enterprise will be afforded equal opportunity and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, national origin or disability in consideration of the contract award.
