This Event is issued by the State University of New York at Stony Brook (herein after referred to as SUNY) to solicit proposals to provide various size Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) Units and parts to the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Stony Brook, NY 11794 Scope of work: Furnish material in accordance with bid proposal. All suppliers are required to accept state Procurement Visa Cards. All paperwork and quotes - documentations, invoices, etc. must bear project number, name and purchase order number. Unused materials may be returned in good re-sellable condition for credit with no re-stocking fee. All orders are to be shipped as complete as possible. Any orders missing materials or back-ordered items are to be clearly identified on packing slip as not being shipped. If the Vendor is unable to ship entire order quantity within (8) eight -(10) ten weeks after receipt of order, Stony Brook University reserves the right to order from another source. Vendors failure to supply material shall be sufficient reason to allow Stony Brook University to obtain the undelivered material on the open market charging any costs over contract pricing to the Vendors Account. More than 3 (three) occurrences of having to use a substitute Vendor for items will constitute failure to meet Vendor obligations and Stony Brook University may notify the Vendor of cancellation of Contract. Upon request vendor must provide specification sheets prior to delivery of materials. Material shall be supplied using manufacturer and models quoted, no substitutions shall be made without Purchasings prior approval. Damaged materials shall be replaced within 72 hours. No freight or fuel charges shall be applied to orders in this contract. Vendor to accept orders verbally or via fax. Orders are not to be accepted without a purchase order number, except for P-Cards orders. VENDORS WHO ARE NOT ON TIME FOR THE MANDATORY SITE VISIT WILL BE TURNED AWAY ONCE THE DOOR HAS CLOSED. Only those Vendors who attend this site visit will be eligible to bid on the project
