Tradition Community Development District No. 1 (District) will receive electronic Bid Submittals from qualified individuals and firms for mowing services within designated District-owned or managed rights-of-way and upland parcels. The work includes: mowing and vegetation maintenance services for designated District-owned or managed lands, including rights-of-way, upland areas, lake banks, canal banks, conservation area edges, greenways, and other specified parcels. The work shall be completed in place as shown and/or described in the Bid Documents and Exhibits. The work must commence within 90 days of the notice to proceed. Questions, requests for clarifications, or notifications of discrepancies or omissions regarding this bid shall be emailed to the Tradition Development Coordinator on or before May 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST. The successful Bidder shall: 1. Possess, at the time of bid submission, all valid and current licenses required by the State of Florida, St. Lucie County, and the City of Port St. Lucie to perform commercial landscape maintenance and mowing services as described in the Scope of Work. Proof of all required licenses must be submitted with the bid. 2. Be registered with and use the U.S. Department of Homeland Securitys E-Verify system to verify the work authorization status of all newly hired employees, as required by Section 448.095, Florida Statutes, and will require the same of all subcontractors performing work under any contract awarded pursuant to this ITB. 3. Furnish documents and satisfy the Districts Attorney as to compliance with the insurance requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders within ten (10) days of the award. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept any bid or portion thereof deemed to be in the best interest of the District, to award bid to the Bidder that best meets the needs of the District, and to waive any non-substantial irregularity. The District shall not be liable for any expense incurred by any Bidder as a result of being a respondent to this solicitation. The District is an independent, local unit of special-purpose government created pursuant to Chapter 190, Florida Statutes. Government in the State of Florida is conducted in the sunshine and all records of the District are subject to the Florida Public Records Laws. As such, they are available for the publics review upon request.
