Renovation of a water / sewer project in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of July 24, 2025 this project was awarded to Integrity Construction Enterprise in the amount of $50,328.38. PROJECT OVERVIEW: 1. Location a. Lift Station (LS) 118, 11500 RCA Center Drive, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. b. The Contractor's use of the project site shall be limited to its construction operations. c. Access to the project site and doors to the building are to be maintained at all times (24/7) to SUA crews due to the critical status of the lift station within the project limits. 2. Staging Areas a. Staging areas shall be coordinated with and approved by SUA. b. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure all storage and/or staging areas are cleaned and returned to prior conditions or better. c. Staged materials and equipment shall not interfere with pump station operations and maintenance activities. 3. Work Involved a. Reroofing with same material type as existing. b. Demolition and removal of faux chimney. c. Patching and framing. d. Painting of entire LS 118 building. e. Repairs to immediate areas affected by chimney removal (eaves, roof, stucco, etc.) 4. All materials and workmanship shall meet the City of Palm Beach Garden's requirements. 5. This is a lump sum project. a. No separate payment will be made for any item that is not specifically set forth in the Contract Documents and all costs therefore shall be included in the lump price named in the Bid Schedule. 6. Warranty a. Contractor shall provide 15-year warranty on material and labor in accordance with Section 07320 of the Technical Specifications. IV. WORK SCHEDULE AND PHASING: 1. Contractor shall submit a construction schedule for SUA approval within 15 days of NTP. 2. Construction Duration a. Substantial Completion: 90 Calendar Days from NTP b. Final Completion: 120 Calendar Days from NTP V. WORK HOURS AND PARKING: 1. Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm 2. Weekend work shall not be permitted unless necessary. VI. INSPECTIONS: chcn moore and associates 1. Inspections will be performed by Engineer, Architect, Seacoast Utility Authority and the City of Palm Beach Gardens. PERMITS: 2. The Contractor shall include in their schedule time to notice and have performed all inspections as required in specification 01400. CONTRACTOR to provide ENGINEER a minimum of two days' notice prior to inspections. VII. 1. Building permit with the City of Palm Beach Gardens has not been obtained at this time but will be required. The Contractor is solely responsible for obtaining the permit and compliance with permit conditions. 2. No other permits are required. VIII. PROJECT MEETINGS: 1. Progress Meetings: Every two weeks, location, time and day TBD IX. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: 1. $1000 per day for failure to meet either Substantial Completion or Final Completion dates. X. ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION ITEMS OR QUESTIONS: 1. The engineer's estimate is $51,000 The project will include engineering and architectural services for the design, ding, and construction of the roofing improvements at Lift Station (LS) 118, 11500 RCA Center Drive. The repairs consist of: Reroof with same material type Removal of faux chimney Repairs to immediate areas affected by chimney removal (eaves, roof, stucco, etc.) The ENGINEER will coordinate with the ARCHITECT to perform the scope of services. A cashier's check or a Bond in a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the , made payable to Seacoast Utility Authority (" Security") shall accompany each as a guarantee that the der will not withdraw from the competition after the opening of s. The sureties for the Bond and Public Construction Bond must be an entity included in the most recent United States Department of Treasury list of acceptable sureties and be authorized to issue surety bonds in Florida. Security shall be in a single acceptable instrument. If Security is made by cashier's check, the conditions contained in the Bond shall nonetheless apply to the cashier's check as they relate to forfeiture or damages. No s may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the day of opening. The cost of preparation is considered an operational cost of ders and shall not be passed on or borne by the Owner. The Successful der, who is awarded the contract, will be uired to furnish a Public Construction Bond in full contract amount in accordance with Florida Statute Section 255.05, and to submit a Certificate of Insurance demonstrating conformance with the Contract Documents.
