Renovation of a residential development in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
1. Interior Sub-Floor Drainage System - Install approximately 130 linear feet +/- of perforated channel (Water Guard XL or equal) on top of footing along the full interior perimeter of both basements. The system shall include not less than ten (10) access ports for future maintenance. 2. Primary Sump Basin & Pump Assembly - Furnish and install one (1) gasketed sump basin with airtight lid and floor drain. Provide a Triple Safe-type pump assembly comprised of: Minimum ? HP cast-iron primary AC pump. Minimum ? HP cast-iron secondary AC pump. DC battery back-up pump with 120-amp sealed maintenance-free battery and integrated alarm. 3. Discharge & Freeze Protection - Provide interior 1 in PVC discharge to exterior, transitioning to buried 4 in SDR pipe terminating minimum 25 ft from foundation. Include Ice Guard-type freeze relief (or equal) and outlet with splash block. 4 Restoration – Re-concrete trench flush with adjacent slab, remove debris, and clean site. Quotes from qualified, licensed contractors to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and incidentals required to remediate chronic groundwater intrusion in the basements of the residence located at 33-35 Leyte Road and 37-39 Leyte Road, Fitchburg, Massachusetts. All work is subject to Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Laws. Site Visits: Encouraged but not required. The Fitchburg Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any and all quotes in the interest of the Authority.
