Renovation of a water / sewer project in New Castle, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project includes removal and construction of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Office and Shop building along with minor grading and utility work for electrical, water service, gas line, sewer service, drain line and guard rail. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price will be required. Question Deadline 06/04/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Engineer Value Engineering Cost Reduction Proposals (VECP) shall contain the following information: 1. A description of both existing Contract requirements for performing Work and proposed changes. 2. An itemization of Contract requirements that must be changed if proposal is adopted. 3. A detailed estimate of the cost of performing the Work under the existing Contract and under the proposed change. 4. A statement of time within which Owner must make a decision thereon, if applicable. 5. Contract items of Work affected by proposed changes, including any quantity variation attributable thereto.
