Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

All questions must be made in writing and emailed to Adam Stout, PE at adam.stout@parkersburgwv.gov All work shall be performed as indicated on plans and specification and include every aspect of work as obvious or implied and necessary to make work complete and fully operational. The general scope of work for this project is as follows: The sidewalk and Gabion wall shall be installed as indicated by the plan drawings. Typical sections, cross sections, and a site plan are provided in the drawings. The gabion baskets shall be installed on a gravel footing. Gabion baskets shall closely match existing baskets and shall meet the requirements of Build America Buy America. At completion of the wall, the embankment is to be placed behind the wall with a layer of fabric separating borrow and the wall. Each bid shall contain the full name and address of every person, firm or corporation interested in the same, and if a corporation, the name and address of the President and Secretary. Each bidder shall require a Certified check, bank draft or acceptable surety bid bond in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid. The Finance Director reserves the right to reject all bids or parts of bids for any one or more supplies or contractual services included in the proposed contract, when the public interest will be served. ***Bid Event: All proposals must be received no later than the time and date of the Bid opening. Any proposal received after the Bid opening time and date will not be considered or opened. Any Bid proposal faxed or received open will not be considered in the bidding process. All Bid openings are open to the public. They are held in the Finance Department on the first floor of the City Building. Once a Bid is opened and the Bidder is determined, that Bidder will be notified by mail of the Bid award. The Bid tabulation sheet will also be posted online.
