Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Clinton, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Replace shelter at Sweet-Allyn Park. The Rock County Parks, Outdoor Recreation and Open Space (POROS) Plan determined needed infrastructure improvements within the Park System. The POROS Plan recommends replacement of the shelter. Updating this pavilion would provide a better atmosphere for rentals and for use during larger events like Shopiere Days. The design for this shelter is set to be completed in 2026 and we are asking for $500,000 to build in 2028. The $500,000 covers more than just the shelter, also covering removal of the existing shelter, any/all erosion control and dirt work, electrical upgrades to the park, parking lot lighting and any paving work that will go along with the project. This aligns with the Strategic Plan objective to preserve strong investments in growing and maintaining public parks. The project is included in the city 2027 - 2031 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 15,2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
