NAME AND DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The City of Tucumcari was awarded a Route 66 Centennial Infrastructure grant for the implementation of their comprehensive wayfinding signage plan to enhance navigation for residents and visitors, improve the aesthetic appeal of public spaces, and support local tourism and economic development. The City of Tucumcari reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to delete portions of bids depending on availability of funds, to waive technicalities, to make any investigations deemed necessary of a bidder's ability to perform the work covered by the specifications and to accept what in judgment of the Owner is the best bid. The procurement Code, Section 13-1-28 through 13-1-199 NMSA 1978 imposes civil and criminal penalties for its violation. In addition, the New Mexico criminal statutes impose felony penalties for illegal bribes, gratuities and kickbacks.
