Site work for a water / sewer project in Victoria, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Victoria County will receive bids for the Old Highway Road Ditch Drainage Project. This project will include ditch grading, existing pipe cleaning and replacement of existing pipes with new pipes (pipes and stabilized backfill provided by Victoria County). A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Victoria County or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. Victoria County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the Victoria County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
