Manitoba Hydro is issuing this Request to seek the submission of competitive Proposals for the McArthur Generation Station - Guardrail and Kickplate Improvements and Winnipeg River Generation Station - Exciter Temporary Platform Fabrication, for a period of approximately June 2025 to December 2025. Manitoba Hydro conducted inspections for guardrails, kickplates, and exciter systems at the six Winnipeg River Generating Stations. The intent was to review safety issues related to guardrails, kickplates, and fall protection around PMG and exciter systems, ensuring their compliance with the Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act and Regulation. Items were identified to improve fall protection, operational safety, and comply with design codes at the McArthur Falls, Great Falls, Slave Falls, and Seven Sisters Generation Stations in a consistent manner. Manitoba Hydro reserves the right, and the Proponent acknowledges that Manitoba Hydro has the right, to reject any, or all, Proposals, or to select, negotiate or accept any Proposal which Manitoba Hydro in its sole unfettered discretion deems advantageous to itself with no resulting liability to any Proponent.
