Reference Number 0000293889 Question Deadline 05/23/2025 All enquiries shall be directed to the Contract Administrator request a clarification as to the meaning or intent of the provision at least five (5) Business Days prior to the Submission Deadline. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Replacement of structure steel girder cover plates and sole plates; (b) Rehabilitation of bridge bearings; The Contractor shall not commence the Work on the Site before July 2, 2025. The Contractor shall achieve Total Performance by August 29, 2025. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission bid security in the form of a digital bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, and agreement to bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba A performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price Labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price. The Award Authority may reject all or any part of any Bid, or waive technical requirements or minor informalities or irregularities, if the interests of the City so require.
