The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, and equipment required for the installation of the electrical systems and the completion of the work as herein specified and/or indicated on the Drawings. It is the intent that the Drawings and Specifications, which are general only, shall provide for finished, first-class work, and that the equipment and appurtenances thereto shall be of such construction and details, and of such materials, as to function completely and properly, and so as to be of long life; and such as not to require excessive upkeep or maintenance; and that operation shall be simple and control convenient. Any items omitted therefrom which are clearly necessary for the completion of the work or its appurtenances shall be considereda portion of the work though not directly specified or shown. Each bid proposal shall be submitted on the proposal forms provided and shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond, executed by the bidder and Surety Company, payable to the Charter Township of Milford in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. Proposal Guarantee shall provide assurance that the bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute the necessary Contract with Milford Township. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for receiving bids for at least Sixty (60) days.
