The City of Stockton, California, will receive sealed proposals for the REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - MATERIAL/SOIL TESTING SERVICES FOR VARIOUS MUNICIPALUTILITIES PROJECTS. Each proposal shall be submitted as one packet and shall be accompanied by the Non-Collusion Declaration and all the required documentation and information. Each proposer shall be licensed in accordance with applicable State laws. The City of Stockton, Municipal Utilities Department (City) is seeking proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide geotechnical engineering and material testing services on an "on call or asneeded" basis for various Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and maintenance projects to ensure projects are completed efficiently and meet necessary standards. a pre-proposal conference will not be held. Proposers are hereby notified that the successful proposer and any sub-consultant under them shall pay prevailing wage rates in accordance with the State ofCalifornia Department ofIndustrial Relations. A contract will be awarded to the proposer who best meets the needs ofthe City; provided, however, that the City Council reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to re-advertise for proposals or to provide for the work to be done by the City of Stockton.
