The East Complex Phase 1 Sewer Improvements project consists of significant upgrades to existing sewer infrastructure within the Port of Stockton. The scope includes the installation of approximately 966 linear feet of 15-inch and 482 linear feet of 18-inch sewer pipe at depths ranging from 9 to 12 feet below ground, in areas with existing groundwater presence. The work also includes the trenchless rehabilitation of 489 linear feet of existing sewer using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) methods. The project will construct four new manholes ranging in depth from 12 to 14 feet and will abandon an existing 12 inch sewer line by grouting in place, in accordance with Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) requirements. Additionally, the project includes the replacement of 12 linear feet of 18-inch sewer pipe located just north of the BNSF Mainline easement, at an approximate depth of 15 feet in ground water. Supporting work includes erosion and sediment control, traffic control implementation (including approved traffic management plans), and the installation of 1,500 linear feet of safety fencing adjacent to the rail corridor. All work will take place within the Port of Stockton's right-of-way on Road "L," between Road 21 and Road 23, in the East Complex or on BNSF main line easement. Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of the entire Work within fifty (50) working days from the date when the Contract Time commences to run.
