A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** Requests for Proposals for Cabral Station Upgrades: Painting & Flooring Notice is hereby given that the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission, a joint powers authority, herein referred to as SJRRC, invites and will receive sealed Proposals for Cabral Station Upgrades: Painting & Flooring. Cabral Station is approximately 17,000 square feet and is three (3) stories tall. The Cabral Station is comprised of a main lobby, bathrooms, training area, conference rooms, hallways, kitchen,breakrooms, office spaces, and stairwells. The Cabral Station serves as the first station stop for the ACE service route heading west. Rich in railroad history, the City of Stockton is host to three (3) historic train depots, and this iconic Southern Pacific Station is the home to SJRRC and services both the ACE service and the State-supported San Joaquin intercity rail passenger service (Amtrak San Joaquins). The first scope includes interior repainting of approximately 11,130 square (sq.) feet (ft) of non-public areas such as bathrooms, training rooms, conference rooms, hallways, kitchens, breakrooms, office spaces, and stairwells. The second scope involves the removal of existing carpet and vinyl flooring, followed by the installation of new carpet tiles and vinyl/laminate planks across approximately 11,130 sq. ft. in designated nonhistoric areas, including training rooms, conference rooms, hallways, offices, and corridors.
