Site work for a water / sewer project in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the installation of the installation of approximately 5,100 LF of 8" ductile iron pipe and related appurtenances A satisfactory Bid Bond provided by an acceptable surety (or the cash equivalent) in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bids or proposals that appear to be in the best interest of the Owner, and further reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bids and to reject any and all bids received. Performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. The bonds must be secured by cash or must be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of South Carolina with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability." Certificates of insurance naming the Owner as an additional insured and with limits as noted in the bid documents will be required.
