Previously known as Building 4 Reference Number 0000387670 The University of West Florida Board of Trustees invites firms to submit qualifications for Construction Manager at Risk preconstruction & construction services for the new Science and Engineering Research Building 129 on the Pensacola Main Campus. Construction Management Services for new construction of a Science and Engineering Building 129 (formerly building 4 addition) will include coordination with the concurrent separate project Satellite Utilities Plant. The utilities scope of work will include all required electrical distribution, potable water, sanitary sewer, and storm water at the site, underground piping to connect to the chilled water loop, Chilled water production equipment, related distribution infrastructure, and electrical connectivity work will be designed and installed within the separate Satellite Utilities Plant project. The completed project will include all required new construction, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. As of October 20, 2025, this project is in the early stages of design and construction is scheduled to start in 2026. A construction manager has been selected. A firm construction timeline has yet to be established.
