Escambia County is requesting bids for mowing/maintenance of designated holding ponds throughout the County. Work is to be performed during the months of April, June, August, and October for a total of 4 mowings and maintenance per each lot. Work must consist of: A. Mowing the pond area to a maximum height four inches (4"). B. Each mowing shall include weed-eating and spraying around the structures and fence. C. Each mowing shall include litter removal prior to mowing. D. Each mowing shall include debris removal prior to mowing. This includes but is not limited to trees, limbs, or other objects that have been thrown into the pond. E. Each mowing shall include repairs to any damages caused during the maintenance of the pond. This includes but is not limited to the fencing, gates, slope, or bottom damage from being stuck slippage. Question Submission Deadline:June 2, 2025, 3:00pm All inquiries concerning the solicitation, including, but not limited to, the scope of work, specifications, additional requirements, attachments, general or supplemental terms and conditions, must be submitted to the Office of Purchasing via email through the e-procurement portal hosted by OpenGov, Attention: Kent JensenPurchasing Coordinatorkmjensen@myescambia.com. The contract resulting from this solicitation shall commence effective upon execution by both parties and extend for a period of Thirty Six Months (36) . The contract may be renewed for two (2) additional twelve (12) month periods, up to a maximum Sixty (60) months total upon mutual agreement of both parties. If any such renewal results in changes in the terms or conditions, such changes shall be reduced to writing as an amendment to the contract and such addendum shall be executed by both parties and approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
