This project involves the streambank stabilization and naturalization of approximately 730 linear feet along both sides of the stream within Centennial Park in West Norriton Township. The work includes re-grading and stabilization to repair the eroded streambank to meet the PADEP pollution reduction criteria. Additional improvements include the installation of a concrete cable mattress crossing and landscape plantings. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, PADEP, West Norriton Township Standards and the plans entitled Centennial Park Stream Restoration Question Deadline 05/30/2025 at 5:00 PM ET Location online portal. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with Article 15 of the Instructions to Bidders and Document 00 21 13 Instructions - Submitting Electronic Bids For This Solicitation and must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the Bid amount payable to Richland Township along with an Agreement of Surety certifying that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be provided to the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish proof of insurance and bonds for Performance, Payment, and Maintenance in such form as meets the approval of West Norriton Township and having as security thereon such Surety company or companies as are approved by West Norriton Township. The project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 422, PA Prevailing Wage Act as amended and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the PA Dept. of Labor and Industry. A pre-bid meeting is not scheduled for this project. The site is accessible for potential bidders to visit. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of the bids. West Norriton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
