Sealed bids must be addressed to the Owner and marked “Attention: GCIAA, Sage Popovich II Hangar Bid Package 3” with the Bid Category name clearly labeled on the envelope. Bids shall be assembled and submitted in full accordance with instructions provided in the Bid Documents. Bids will be received using the Construction Manager as Adviser delivery for the following bid categories. BC4 General Trades BC5 Fire Sprinkler BC6 Mechanical BC7 Electrical Bidders shall ensure that they have obtained complete sets of Bidding Documents and shall assume the risk of any errors or omissions in Bids prepared by reliance on incomplete sets of Bidding Documents. A Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security shall be a certified check or bid bond. All checks and bid bonds shall be made payable to the Gary Chicago International Airport Authority. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days before awarding contracts. Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form provided in the Bidding Documents. The successful Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds for 100% of their contract amount before execution of contracts. Bonds shall be maintained in accordance with I.C. 36-1-12-12 and I.C. 36-1-12-14. Bids will be received for multiple prime contracts using the Construction Manager as Adviser delivery for the following bid categories BC4 General Trades, BC5 Fire Sprinkler, BC6 Mechanical, BC7 Electrical.
