Jeff Lozer, COO, jlozer@geoacademies.org Dr. Peter Morikis, pmorikis@geoacademies.org 21C is currently requesting proposals from HVACproviders for comprehensive replacement of the school's HVAC systems and equipment located at 1440 E 35th Ave., Gary, IN, 46409. The selected vendor will be responsible for removing the equipment to be replaced, installing or repairing associated infrastructure (valves, actuators, etc.), installing newer generation equipment and controls, testing the newly installed equipment, and providing any additional labor or materials necessary for the successful completion of the project. More detailed requirements can be found below. Major equipment replacement work is required to be scheduled and performed primarily during school breaks (e.g., winter break) and/or outside regular school hours to minimize disruption to the students and staff. Bidders must propose a detailed schedule that accommodates this requirement and demonstrates a clear plan for phasing the work.
