Site work for a water / sewer project in Lockport, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
replacement and relocation of the water main and water services currently located in the rear yards along Cove Avenue. This project includes the installation of water main via open cut and trenchless methods, installation of gate valves, valve vaults, fire hydrants, valve boxes, new water service connections, class D patching, pavement markings, parkway restoration, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project. Prospective bidders are advised to carefully review the Plan, General Conditions, Special Conditions, Special Provisions, and Details of this document. Prequalification: Prequalification by IDOT will be required of all contractors and subcontractors on this project in the respective discipline(s) they will be responsible for constructing. Bid submission info : Bids transmitted by facsimile or email will not be accepted. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Lockport, City Clerk, 222 E. 9th Street, Lockport, IL 60441 and marked to indicate the following: Cove Ave Water Main Relocation Project (25-116) DO NOT OPEN BID OPENING.
