The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, permits and fees necessary for the Entry Door Glass Repair and Replacement located at San Jose Armory, 251 West Hedding Street, San Jose, CA 95110. Work to include: The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, taxes, insurance, permits, transportation and supervision to perform the repair to replace the broken glass in the entry doors at the San Jose National Guard Armory. All work shall be in accordance with the terms, conditions, and requirements of this Invitation for Bid (IFB). The prime contractor MUST possess a type C-17 - Glazing Contractor license, or subcontract to one. All questions regarding this IFB MUST be submitted to Joy Lubic, at Joy.Lubic@cmd.ca.gov no later than 4:00 PM on 5/28/2025. Email subject lines must state RFI FOR EVENT# 35579. a. Remove damaged/shattered glass and replace with laminated safety glass on all five (5) commercial front doors. Four doors measure: Length 80 3/4", Width 26 1/2"; Thickness1/4". One Door measures at: Length 80 3/4", Width 28 1/2" . Thickness1/4" to maintain security of the building. b. Worksite shall be cleaned, and debris removed upon completion of the job. c. Contractor will have sixty days to complete the install after the "Notice to Proceed" is issued. d. Required CSLB - C-17, Glazing is required. The Prime Contractor shall self-perform on the site (trade work) with its own organization, work equivalent to at least twenty percent (20%) of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract.
