Batavia Public School District 101, Kane County, IL, will receive sealed bids from interested trade contractors for the BHS Batavia Fine Arts Centre Makeup Rooms Renovation Bid Release 1. This project includes the following trade packages: 06A-1 General Trades, 09F-1 Flooring, and 26A-1 Electrical. Bids must be submitted in duplicate in a sealed envelope and labeled "BHS Batavia Fine Arts Centre Makeup Rooms Renovation Bid Release 1", with the date and time of the bid opening, the Contractor's name and address, and the Trade Pack-age. A bid day label is supplied in the Construction Manager's Manual and Specification Book. SCOPE OF WORK The proposed project is a 2,250 SF Renovation of the Makeup Rooms in the Batavia Fine Arts Centre. Work includes interior demolition, new doors, new finishes, and MEP work for a new kitchenette. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 10% of the bid is to accompany the proposal. In addition, the successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days of the award of the contract. Payment of Prevailing Wages is required for this project. Revised rates will apply for the duration of the contract. This Project is Tax Exempt. The Board of Education of Batavia Public School District 101 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or waive any bid irregularities.
