City of Michigan City, Indiana, by and through the Board of Public Works & Safety, will receive sealed bids for the demolition ofthe structure with appropriate fill and grading ofthe area, and clearing ofthe premises ( including accessory structures, landscaping, fencing & debris). Indiana. A Bid Bond, signed by both the surety' and the bidder, or Cashier's Check, in an amount equal to ten percent ( 10%) ofthe total bid amount must accompany each bid. The surety ofthe lowest bidder will be retained by the Board until seven (7) days after the winning bidder provides the Board with a duly executed contract and required forms and attachments. Bids will be opened and read aloud at that time, and the Board will make the award to what it determines to be the lowest responsive and responsible bid.
