Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The project consists of the replacement of the wooden decking and railings of the existing bridge over the West Branch of the DuPage River in Mallard Lake Forest Preserve. ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS/RESPONDENTS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT OF DUPAGE COUNTY OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. Consideration of contract award will likely be made on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. Minority business firms are encouraged to submit bids on the project and successful contract bidders are encouraged to utilize minority businesses as subcontractors for supplies, equipment, services and construction. The Forest Preserve Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities.
