Site work and paving for a civil project in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

**As of July 30th, 2025 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded to be August 19th, 2025.** Consists of constructing approximately 140 Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) patches totaling approximately 21,000 square feet of 4 to 8-inch deep permanent HMA patches. Work includes installation of approximately 30 concrete water and gas valve collars and adjustment of approximately 5 concrete manhole collars. Estimated Cost: $300,000 Deadline for RFI Submittals: Thursday, June 5, 2025. at 12 Noon Approximate Award Date: Tuesday, July 15, 2025 Approximate Construction Start Date: Monday, July 28, 2025 Construction End Date: December 31, 2026 The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. The work consists of constructing approximately 140 Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) patches totaling approximately 21,000 square feet of 4 to 8-inch deep permanent HMA patches. b. Work includes; mobilization, saw cutting of existing pavement, excavating, removing and legally disposing of the existing temporary asphalt patches, re-compaction of the existing aggregate base material so its suitable for pavement placement, tack coating of all surfaces, placement and compaction of a Type 3 asphaltic pavement, all other incidental items, and all other work in accordance with the general provisions and special provisions of this contract. c. All permanent patches shall be HMA 1/2 " Type 3 PG64-28 with 3% voids 50 blows and no more than 15% RAP, or HMA 1/2 " Type 3 PG64-28NV with 3% voids 50 blows and no more than 15% RAP. d. All permanent patches shall be sealed with SS-1H and sand meeting requirements of Standard Specifications of Public Works Construction (SSPWC) 200.02.07. e. Work includes installation of approximately 30 concrete water and gas valve collars and adjustment of approximately 5 concrete manhole collars. f. Provide traffic control as specified in the special provisions of this contract. g. The Owner will provide detailed listings of the locations where asphalt street patching is required on a periodic basis commencing after the Notice to Proceed has been presented to the Contractor. The Contractor will have fifteen (15) calendar days after receipt of each such period listing in which to accomplish the work contained on that listing. The Contractor shall notify the Owner 5 (five) days in advance of the scheduled time of repairs. The quantity of work shown on each patch listing will be a quantity that can be practically accomplished within the fifteen (15) calendar day period. The Contractor will be paid for work completed on a list after submission of a pay request, subject to agreement by the County upon all quantities submitted. The contract will terminate on December 31, 2026.
