Site work and paving for a civil project in Bridgeport, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The Project is state funded with Senate Bill 1 (SB 1) funds provided by the California Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. The Project will rehabilitate the Aspen Springs Ranch Road asphalt concrete pavement from the road's westerly to easterly intersections with Crowly Lake Drive-- approximately 0.7 miles--with a 9" Full Depth Reclamation (FDR) and a new 3" hot mix asphalt surface course. Other Project improvements include shoulder backing, grading approximately 650 feet of roadside swale, installing approximately 400 feet of French drain, grading a small retention basin and re-setting survey monuments disturbed by construction. The Engineer's cost estimate to construct this project is between $575,000 and $675,000. Site visits to project locations will be scheduled in the afternoon by request. Bidders are advised that due to the remote nature of central Mono County, "overnight" delivery by the US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, and other carriers is actually scheduled as a two-day delivery. As soon thereafter as is practicable, all bids received by the Clerk as of the Bid Submission Deadline will be taken to the Department of Public Works Conference Room, located on the second floor of Courthouse Annex 1, 74 North School Street, Bridgeport, California 93517, and publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
