This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Manchester, New Hampshire. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.
Specific tasks to be performed during the survey shall include, but are not limited to, the following: The Contractor shall perform a complete Baseline Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act Survey. To accomplish this, the Contractor's accredited Building Inspector(s) shall conduct an assessment of friable and non-friable ACM in every accessible building space included in the survey, and identify types, locations, quantities and conditions of ACM and locations and quantities of presumed ACM present using the AHERA protocol. The survey shall include accessible areas of all site buildings (including but not limited to behind/through access hatches, inside accessible drop-ceiling spaces and crawlspaces, etc.) and, if present, suspect materials on the exterior of buildings. Inaccessible suspect materials (e.g., behind walls or pipe chases) shall be noted in the database as presumed ACM, and Contractor will capture and provide all available information (e.g. location/quantity estimates based on visible conditions above walls, etc.) regarding presumed ACM, to ensure maximum understanding of existing conditions to future projects. The Contractor's accredited Building Inspector(s) shall collect bulk samples of suspect materials for confirmatory laboratory analysis (samples will be collected and analyzed in accordance with the recommended EPA bulk sample protocol). No roofs are to be sampled. This project's Period of Performance (PoP) shall be 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NtP) to final acceptance by the Contracting Officer (CO) of the Contractor's Final Inspection Report. Questions: Any questions must be submitted in writing no later than 23 May 2025 at 3:00 PM EST. Answers to the questions will be posted the following week.
