Scope of work, contract time, and liquidated damages are as follows: Demolition, earthwork, and utility extensions associated with the development of site and construction of future hangar development area. Contract time of THIRTY (30) calendar days Liquidated damages are set at $1000.00 per calendar day that the project remains incomplete after the specified completion time. Bid Security: A certified check or cashier's check payable to City of Covington or, a bid bond, of an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with each bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into, and the performance of the contract properly secured. Contract Security: The Successful bidder will be required to furnish a separate contract bond payable to the OWNER in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price as security for CONTRACTOR'S faithful performance and payment of all obligations under the Contract Documents.
