The project generally consists of approximately 3,000 LF of 8" gravity sewer, 2,000 LF of 4" force main, 16,800 LF of 6" force main and two sewer lift stations. The project is located on Highway 59 and Hogan Road in the southwest portion of the City of Covington. City of Covington will be soliciting bids for Highway 59 & Hogan Road Sewer Extension on the property located at Tipton County, Tennessee. The Highway 59 & Hogan Road Sewer Extension is a Utility Improvement project with several functions for the Covington, Tennessee community. This project is being supported American Rescue Plan Act, Coronavirus State and Local Recovery Fund grant funding. Therefore, certain restrictions and other federal requirements attach to this opportunity. A bid bond or certified check for five percent (5%) of the total bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond in the amount of his bid and shall, before entering on the work of said contract, be licensed as a contractor of the City of Covington.
