AC Replacement Contractor to provide all materials supervision actor to provide all materials supervision actor to provide all materials supervision Any s will be answered by 05/26/2025 The contractor shall provide all tools, material, and labor to replace the outside condensing unit with in kind or compatible unit with existing air handler unit. The contractor has the option of replacing the outdoor condensing unit with two 7.5-ton units with timers and controls to operate in the same manner as the original unit. The exact location will be shown by the Contracting Officer (KO) or Contracting Officer Representative (COR). 1. Replace outdoor condensing unit with in kind or compatible 15-ton unit. 1) Provide rigging services to remove old units from location and place new units. 2) Remove and properly dispose of the existing equipment. 3) Provide all the labor to modify existing gas piping to transition, from existing piping to new systems for proper operation. 4) Provide and install one condenser unit with the following minimum salient characteristics: o 15-ton total capacity o Electrical: 208/230V, 3-phase, 60hz o Coil Coating: Applied anti-corrosion coatings either applied from manufacturer or applied by contractor prior to installation. 5) Connect new equipment to existing copper and condensate piping. 6) Reconnect electrical and refrigerant piping to existing service. 7) Evacuate refrigerant piping system to manufacturer's specifications. 8) Purge with nitrogen. 9) Start-up of system to insure proper operation. 10) Remove and properly dispose of any debris created by the contractor. 2. All work shall be accomplished to code in the specified fields and with the best standard practices. Workman shall be thoroughly experienced and certified in the trades. The work shall be supervised by experienced personnel and shall be satisfactory to the COR. Supervisor contact and qualifications shall be submitted for approval and record. 3. The contractor shall have all materials, equipment, and personnel to perform the work at the prior to the commencement of the work. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 1. The overall period of performance shall be no later than 30 after the award date. 2. The contractor may reschedule up to 2 business in case of inclement weather. Scheduling of the date of repair shall be made in best efforts to avoid this. 3. The contractor shall complete all work listed herein within (21) workday(s). 4. Work shall be done between Monday-Friday 0730-1700. The contractor shall give 48 hours' notice to the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer's Representative if work is needed outside these times for approval. If overtime is needed past 1700 day of repair, the contractor shall notify USCG personnel or designated on personnel by 1430 the day of at the lates
