Reference Number 0000388004 The City of Northville will receive proposals from qualified and experienced vendor-installers to design, manufacture, furnish, install, and connect a drinking water booster station as part of a system-wide drinking water improvement project. The proposed station will be located within the public right-of-way at the northeast corner of Base Line Road and East Street in the City of Northville, see Exhibit A. The selected vendor (furthermore referred to as iVENDORi) will be included in bid documents for the overall project construction to start in Fall 2025. BACKGROUND The City of Northville is under an Administrative Consent Order with the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) to make improvements to their public drinking water distribution system. One of the proposed improvements involves taking an existing underground reservoir and pump station offline permanently, requiring a compensatory pressure increase (or iboosti) to be added to the system. OHM Advisors, the Cityis engineer, has modeled and conceptually designed a solution which includes the addition of a prefabricated booster station along with associated new water main piping to provide the requires pressure increase to the system and facilitate the filling of the existing elevated water storage tower, which will remain online.
