Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The improvement includes removal of existing sections of balustrade wall and replacement with sections of cast stone balustrade wall, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 674-116/125, located along the west side of the Des Moines River between Center Street and Locust Street and between Walnut Street and Court Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa. This project shall be fully completed not later than July 1, 2026. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Citys Overall Annual DBE/TSB Goal for this project is 5.72%
