Renovation of a municipal facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Types of Contracts Available Under the Mcc Program Are Construction Projects, Facility Repairs, Neighborhood Improvements, Emergency Repairs and Maintenance Work With a Maximum Value of $5.0m; Ord 09-101. All Capital Departments Are Participating. Additional Opportunities Are Available Through Weatherization Assistance Program (Wap) Which Enables Low-income Families to Reduce Their Energy Bills by Making Their Homes More Energy Efficient. Funds Are Used to Improve the Energy Performance of Dwellings by Families in Need, Using the Most Advanced Technologies and Testing Procedures Available in the Housing Industry. Measures to Make Homes More Energy Efficient Include: Replacement or Installation of Key Components, Installation of Energy Recovery Ventilation Systems Including Bathroom and Kitchen Exhaust Fans and Installation of Whole Mechanical Exhaust Systems to Provide Better Indoor Air Quality, Install Attic Insulation, Install Window Solar Films, Repair or Furnish All Labor, Equipment, and Materials Required to Comply With the Intent of the Work Described in the Contract Documents Including but Not Limited to: This is a Roofing Replacement Project for the Aviary Keeper Building and Rest Room Building at Zoo Miami. It Will Involve Removing the Existing Bur Systems and Installing New Bur Systems. Including All Tapered Insulation, Roof Penetrations, Drip Edge, Gutters, to Ensure a Complete Roof System That Includes All Product and Installation Warranties. Phasing: The Zoo Will Determine Which Building to Begin Work on and the Order in Which They Will Be Completed. Work Can Be Carried on Concurrently. Note That Work is Further Described in the Contract Documents Listed in Project Volume I 00800 Supplemental General Conditions Article 1.6. Experience Requirement: Bidder or Bidder's Subcontractor Shall Have Completed at Least Two (2) Projects of Similar Size and Scope; in Lieu of the References From the Bidder or Bidder's Subcontractor, the County Will Consider the References From Bidder's Key Personnel in Accordance With Resolution No. R-1122- 21. Bidder Shall Provide Evidence of This Experience; Project Names; Dollar Values and Contract Information for Verification Purposes.
