PROJECT NO./TITLE: 546-24-119, Bid-Build (BB) Services, Replace Roof in Building 7 at Miami VA Medical Center The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 8 has a requirement to provide construction services to include labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and all other resources necessary for the construction of all the elements to Replace Roof in Building 7 at Miami VA Medical Center in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW) and other specifications. Work Location: Department of Veterans Affairs, Miami VA Medical Center, 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, FL 33125. Estimated Target Completion Period: 240 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. In accordance with VAAR 836.204 (f)(1), the magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238160 Roofing Contractors. Size Standard is $19.0 Million. Product Service Code (PSC) Z1DA Maintenance of Hospitals and Infirmaries. This is a bid-build project/solicitation that will use trade-off source selection process, providing the best value to the Government. There will only be one phase. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 9, 2025. All information for this solicitation will be posted on the SAM.gov website at SAM.gov. At the time of proposal submission, all interested firms must have current registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov . Proposals of contractors not registered in www.sam.gov will not be considered for award. Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Businesses will be verified in Veteran Small Business Certification (VetCert) at www.veterans.certify.sba.gov. Green Environmental Management System (GEMS) - Contractors selected for award of this contract are expected to be good stewards of the environment by complying with federal, state, and local environmental laws and other requirements such as medical center policy and project specifications. In addition, contractors should incorporate pollution prevention and waste minimization into operations.
