Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Elizabethtown, New York. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
Project work includes approximately 31,457 linear foot of gravity sewer main; approximately 6,916 linear foot of force sewer main; main pump stations (5 anticipated); up to 15 grinder pump stations to serve low lying properties; and sewer lateral connections. The proposed wastewater treatment facility involves construction of an SBR treatment system, construction of two buildings to house new headworks, including a mechanical fine screen, manual bar screen and grit removal. These buildings will also house the new SBR tankage, associated treatment components, tertiary discs filtration for long-term phosphorus removal, UV disinfection system for surface discharge requirements, and aerobic digesters for solids management.
