Reference Number 0000388085 This project aims to demolish and remove all existing HVAC and mechanical equipment across five buildings on the Rangely campus. The selected contractor will be responsible for designing, specifying, and installing new, modernized HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure improved efficiency, reliability, and compliance with current standards. Colorado Northwestern Community College intends to select a Design/Build Entity who will design, manage and construct the project as described within. The process to be used in the selection of the firm is comprised of two steps: STEP I is the Submittal of Prequalification as described in Section II. STEP II is the Oral Interview/Cost Proposal as described in detail in Section III. The scope of services will include assistance to the State during the process of design, construction, and warranty period. Specific tasks to be performed by the Design/Build Contractor (D/B) include those generally performed by the D/B construction community where the Designer is also the Contractor. CNCC will require a turnkey installation to include, but not limited to the following: Provide all engineered drawings for each building. Remove and dispose of boilers and associated piping, valves, controls, expansion tank, air separator, and other hydronic accessories within the boiler plant. Flush hydronic systems. Provide combustion air openings. Provide new flue piping to accommodate the specifications of new boilers. Mount new boilers on the existing concrete pad. Extend gas line to new boilers, extend to existing water heater in room. Pipe in new boilers, pumps, expansion tank, glycol feeder, condensate neutralizer kits, and install accessories per engineering details. Existing heating water supply and return piping exiting the boiler room shall be connected to the new system. Receive and Transport Package Heat/ Cool Rooftop Units. Remove Gas Piping & Electrical Services from the existing RTU. Remove and haul away the existing roof-mounted package unit Prep existing curb for RTUs. Connect Gas and Electrical Connections to new equipment. Pull new communication wire to new units. Start-up and commission new RTUs. Integrate new equipment into CNCC's existing control software. Provide all crane and rigging services. Insulate and label and piping. Test and balance of all new systems. Install sub-meters on all potable water lines in (12) buildings on the Rangely campus. Provide and install water filter system to reduce calcium and corrosion in water heaters, pipes, and other mechanical equipment. Install bottle filler stations at existing water fountain in (4) buildings.
