Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hartwell, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Hart County Board of Commissioners is soliciting bids for road paving projects as outlined in this bid package and other bid documents. The paving/overlay work is for existing county paved roads. The County has a list of roads included in this bid package, which is 13 roads, about 25.2 miles total, and approximately 9,200 tons of 19mm asphalt patching widening, 7,500 tons of 9mm asphalt level, 23,050 tons 12.5 mm surface. All roads will be striped as described later in this document. The County may add or subtract from this list based on changes in funding and/or priorities. The County will then reinstall the shoulders after paving and striping is completed. Bidders as part of this work will clip the roads (leave clippings piled on side), mill and patch, clean, tack, level the road as directed by the County and then install surface course. See the attached list of roads and technical requirements. NOTE: You must sign and complete the Bid Supplemental Form also. Per GA State Law if bid for work is greater than $100,000 a 5% bid bond must be included with the bid.
