Renovation of a residential development in Stony Point, New York. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1. Vendor will design new 2nd Floor Egress Stairs to replace existing Egress Stairs including the concrete walkway leading to the driveway. 2. Designs will incorporate ADA guidelines in the allotted space/ construction area. 3. Specifications OPWDD required for designs: a. Brackets/ Post Bases/ Fasteners: Stainless steel materials will be used unless it not available by manufacture. An equivalent will be used in its place. b. Rough Lumber- High quality #2 grade or better will be used. c. Decking- Composite material boards will be used like Trex or equivalent. d. Railing- ADA standard railing will be used. (PVC coated over Aluminum) e. Handrail- ADA compliant handrail will be installed. 4. Design will shall comply to the current NYS Code and manufacture guideline. 5. The design must be approved by OPWDD’s Architect. 6. Any code violations per design will be the designer’s financial responsibility for changes. The quotes may be hand delivered, mailed, or emailed as long as they are received in the Business Office prior to the deadline. Email is preferred. Please check your submission for arithmetic errors and correct labor wages. Hudson Valley DDSO reserves the right to reject any quote which does not reflect the correct prevailing wages in accordance with the provided wage schedule. Tabulation of quotes will be posted to the listing of NYS Contract Reporter along with the award.
