Bids are being received to consider entering into an agreement with a Contractor to perform the following work at "THE RANCH": 1. Fairgrounds Ave Widening Project (PN6508): Widen and improve the west side of Fairgrounds Avenue between the North and South Service Roads in accordance with City of Loveland's 4- Lane Arterial Street section with a new bike lane, curb/gutter, and detached sidewalk as depicted in the Larimer County Urban Area Street Standards Figure 7-2L. 2. Parking Lot E and Lot Y Expansion Project (PN6513): Expand and construct The Ranch Parking Lot E into Lot Y to provide additional paved parking. Additionally, construct a new acceleration lane adjacent to Lot Y along Arena Circle. All bidders shall be experienced highway contractors and must be experienced in highway construction and in the use of the Colorado Department of Transportation's Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Larimer County may require the apparent low bidder to submit a Statement of Qualifications prior to award. A Contract and Bond and supply Insurance Endorsement forms provided by the said Board within fifteen (15) days (or such further time as may be allowed in writing by the Board) after receiving notification of the Award of Contract based on this bid, and in case I/we do not, the Board may proceed to award the contract to another, re-advertise the work for bids, or proceed in any lawful manner they deem advisable, and the accompanying Guaranty shall become forfeited to Larimer County, Colorado as liquidated damages. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty consisting of a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the contractor's bid, without conditions, payable to Larimer County or your bid will be considered nonresponsive and your bid will be rejected. The sample Bid Bond included in these bid documents should be used. Bid Guaranties may be held until the contract is awarded, provided the time from bid opening to contract award does not exceed 30 days. Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100 percent of the Award Vendor's Contract price must be supplied prior to any work beginning. Each bid must contain a unit bid price for each item shown in the Bid Schedule. The signed Anti-Collusion Affidavit must be submitted with the bid or the bid will be deemed non-responsive and rejected.
