Reference Number 0000294273 Question Acceptance Deadline 2025/06/03 02:00:00 PM CDT The Consultant will be responsible for using a structured planning/project management framework and comprehensive work plan to achieve the Project Goals and Objectives (see section 1.3), and that acknowledges the Project Context (see section 1.4) and all parameters outlined in this RFP. The Consultant must assemble and manage a qualified project team The consultant team will complete a thorough review of the two health care delivery sites -Brandon and Bethesda Regional Health Centres, to understand its current context and future development potential. This includes identifying necessary renovations, redevelopments, or full replacements of infrastructure based on anticipated needs. Assess the implications and feasibility of all proposed redevelopment or replacement Plan Options. Facilitate consensus-building discussions with each site, and the Owner, to ensure alignment on proposed work, particularly around clinical and clinical support services/programs, service relocations, interdepartmental relationships and adjacencies, population and demographic data, program workload projections and growth or changes in service areas. Define space requirements (both component-level and gross building area) for each clinical and non-clinical program, and support service. Develop each site's Options using a combination of strategic plans, consultations, current services profiles, 20-year population and demographic projections, program workload forecasts (clinical, non-clinical and support services), and corresponding 20-year space requirement projections for all program areas. Ensure each Option reflects a comprehensive, unbiased assessment of each of the two campuses future needs. This includes clinical, medical, academic, research, and community functions, as well as the perspectives of patients, families, staff, EMS, police, and external service providers. Identify capital needs based on future service requirements and infrastructure conditions. Provide detailed, well-documented, and independently developed Options outlining both short and long-term strategies for future use and potential redevelopment of each Campus/Site. Include a viable capital infrastructure renewal management strategy including cost estimates and a clear methodology.
