The City of Bettendorf, Iowa, Parks and Recreation Department is seeking statements of qualifications from professional architectural & planning firms to conduct a feasibility study. This study will include the development of a preferred concept plan and a detailed opinion of probable costs for the next phase of Forest Grove Park's master plan. The park's original master plan, completed in 2012, provided recreational recommendations for the site. To date, two (2) phases have been completed including a playground, multiple shelters, pickleball and tennis courts and mass grading of the site. However, with the recent opening of a $60 million sports complex on an adjacent parcel, there is a need to reassess and refine the park's development to align with the opportunities presented by this new amenity. Bettendorf Parks and Recreation is now seeking a firm to develop a plan for the future of Forest Grove Park to meet and serve the demands of the community and region over the coming decades. We are seeking a firm or team possessing a high degree of technical competency in feasibility analysis, cost estimating, and concept planning of public spaces to develop a park that meets the needs of our rapidly growing community. o Late Proposals: The City is not responsible for delays in receipt of proposals.
