The Project consists of the reconstruction of approximately 400' of Kari Lane with a 30' wide paved roadway, gravel shoulders, turnaround, ditching, and culvert installations. All references in Section 104 of the latest revision of the MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction to the Engineer providing the indicated staking are deleted. All applicable staking required in Section 104 shall be provided by the Contractor. All references elsewhere in the latest revision of the MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction, Special Provisions or Supplemental Specifications to the Engineer providing layout are deleted and such layout shall be provided by the Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing, placing, protecting and maintaining staking necessary for proper execution of the work under the contract. The Engineer may check the Contractorís work at any time to assure conformance with the latest revision of the MDOT Standard Specifications for Construction.
