The elevator, installed in 1994 is operating reliably and safely but is nearly 30 years old and is still considered in its original state. Modernizing the equipment will bring the elevator up to new code requirements, including compliance with current CSA B651 Accessible Design for the Built Environment. Consultant to sample the hydaulic oil and provide analysis, report and recommendations. barrier-free standards. Study should identify replacement of the existing controller with newer microprocessor-based controls, replacement of power unit (pump, motor, valve & tank), replacement of door operators and door hardware, a new cab interior, new car & hall fixtures and a new jack unit with integrated PVC protection.
