As of July 30, 2025, project was awarded to Corrective Asphalt Materials, LLC, awarded amount is $68,821.50. This project includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: asphalt pave ment rejuvenationat Middle School South, May Whit ney ElementarySchool, Middle School North, Sarah Adams Elementary School, Seth Paine Elemen tary School, and theHigh School within the Villages of Lake Zurich andHawthorn Woods. Should Bidder have any questions or find any discrepancies in or omissions from any of the documents, or be in doubt as to their meanings, he or she shall advise the Engineer, Peter C. Lind, P.E. at 847-478-9700. All bids offered must be accompanied by bid securityin the form of cash, certified check or bid bond madepayable to the Owner in the amount of not less thanten percent (10%) of the amount of the aggregate ofthe bid as a guar an tee that if the bid is accepted, acontract will be entered into and the performance ofthe contract prop erly secured. The successful bidderfor the project is required to furnish Performance andLabor and Material Payment Bonds in an amountequal to one hundred percent (100%) of the bidamount, with sureties to be approved by the Owner,and in the form required by the Bidding documents. The success ful bidder is required to pay the generalprevail ing wage for work under this Contract as ascertained by the Illi nois Depart ment of Labor, and shallsubmit certi fied payroll records, in compliance withthe Prevail ing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130) and therequire ments of the Bidding Documents. State of Illinois, Depart ment of Transportation,Contrac tor Pre-Qualifica tion and Subcon tractor Registra tion is required. A Special Provision for time ofcomple tion is included with the contract. The Board of Education reserves the right to rejectany or all bids or any part thereof.
