Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for improvements at the East Side Operations Center. Work includes construction of a new fueling facility (diesel and gas), new oil collection system, CMU ice and water station, relocation and repurposing of two (2) diesel emergency generators, electrical components, and associated civil site improvements for the East Side Operations Center Fuel Facility, SAWS Job Nos. 22-7710 & 22-7711. Electronic proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price. (Or, if providing SAWS with a cashier's check or certified check in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price, SAWS will request this within 24 hours from the Respondent who did not submit a bid bond). The work consists of, but not limited to, the following: o Demolition of: Two (2) underground fuel storage tanks (USTs) One (1) underground used oil storage tank (UST) Fuel islands and associated appurtenances. o Removal and replacement of: Curb and asphalt pavement to create area for a relocated 900 kW generator. Asphalt pavement surrounding new Ice/Water Station. Multiple small areas of concrete and asphalt pavements. o Relocation, construction of new concrete pads, and installation of: Existing 900 kW generator from SAWS Aqua Vista Pump Station (20015 Hardy Oak Blvd.) Existing 500 kW generator from on-site at Eastside Operations Center and salvaged electrical appurtenances from Aqua Vista Pump Station. o New CMU building for Ice and Water Station o New Fueling Facility (diesel and gasoline): Concrete pavement. Containment facility with four (4) 10,000-gallon ASTs. Four (4) fuel pump islands.
