Questions Due June 24, 2025, at 4:00 PMCDT Aspirational SBOP Goal 4% Sealed proposals are requested by the San Antonio Water System for the construction of two 30-inch diameter, 1,000-foot-deep groundwater wells in the Edwards Aquifer, including associated casings, wellhead appurtenances, and temporary caps for the Ladera Wells No. 1 and No. 2 Project, SAWS Job No. 21-6013. Be advised that firms responding to this RFCSP (Respondents) are prohibited from communicating with any other SAWS staff, the Consultant, the Developer, or COSA officials regarding this RFCSP up until the contract is awarded as outlined in the Instructions to Respondents. Electronic proposals shall be accompanied by a bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal price. No requests for FTP site access will be accepted after 10:00 AM (CDT), July 8, 2025. A. The work is located at the proposed Ladera Water Production Facility site in southwest Bexar County. The project site is located within the Ladera Development along SH 211, approximately 2.2-miles north of its intersection with US Hwy 90 West in southwest Bexar County. B. The work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, constructing the work described below and all related appurtenances as described in the Contract Document and Drawings. The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Mobilization on site, with preparation for vehicle access, construction of gravel base access drives, furnishing temporary erosion and sediment controls, temporary access roads, and temporary signage. 2. Securing local permits for site work, and drilling permit with the Edwards Aquifer Authority for construction of new wells. 3. Drilling and construction of two new production wells, Well Nos. 1 and 2. 4. Site restoration. C. The wells will be constructed into the Edwards Aquifer. The Contractor must have the experience the equipment for working within the Edwards Aquifer and its specific rules and regulations. D. Contracting Method: The Project shall be constructed under one prime Contract.
